Sep 3, 2008 · Recent is a vague period of time, thus it makes more sense to say "in recent years". I also agree with the advice you were giving in the other thread to use " over several years ". Aug 16, 2020 · Hi Folks, When I say "in recent years" does this include the present year and today?
